A tree must love the ground on which it stands.

This is the land where, like tidal waves, Spirituality and philosophy have, again and again, rushed out and deluged the world.

Swami Vivekananda says: " The Indian Nation cannot be killed. Deathless it stands and it will stand so long as that spirit shall remain as the background, so long as her people do not give up her spirituality. Beggars they may remain, poor and poverty-stricken, dirt and squalor may surround them but them not give up their God, let them not forget that they are children of sages."

This is the theme of Indian life-work, the burden of her eternal song, the backbone of her existence, the foundation of her being, the raison d'etre of her very survival - the spiritualisation of the human race.
